My newly engaged nephew and his bride to be. They are on their Italian trip. Don't they make a cute couple? I was just telling sis, I hope we don't have to wait 5 years for the wedding. They aren't even living in the same city currently, although he is supposedly looking for a job in hers. I guess it hasn't gone astoundingly well. He has the feeling it may take awhile. He's an engineer though, you would think those jobs would be fairly easy to come by.

@LadyDuck I think they are mostly hanging around Florence. I noticed Pisa isn't that far away though. I hope they get to go to the leaning tower.

Yeah, I haven't seen a lot of photos of her, but it seems she prefers the natural look. She is quite attractive without make up really.

With all they hype about plenty of jobs being available, one would think a job search would not be hard, but... My son is even having a time of it looking.

Well, yeah he is the one who will have to find one in her city. She is working now, well they both are, but he is in OHio and she is in Chicago where I would think there would be a lot of opportunities. Thanks!!

They may not care, but I do..not getting any younger! However, who even knows what kind of wedding they will have? They could run to the courthouse..but I m sure they will at least have a reception.

Not really, but I know they can't fill all the jobs that are out there now in various fields. Restaurant workers are certainly in short supply.

Yes, I hope not. I told him he could always get a head hunter. I think there is some kind of service there as well that helps engineers get jobs.,,of course both of those probably have a fee to use.
