A Househusband Is Me

More than eight years have passed since I started being a househusband, and I'm not even engaged. The best, in my opinion! Although I'm my own boss and have flexible hours, I'm quite fussy about keeping my home clean and orderly. Being a homemaker has only one drawback: the salary. However, because I work as a freelance ESL instructor, I can easily fit household duties into my other commitments and avoid daily traffic jams. Do you have an opinion on househusbands? I've been a single dad for most of Pretty's life. I have the same duties as a househusband except I had to also go out to work for most of that time. Nothing wrong with being a househusband. Somebody has to do the chores and cooking.

Sometimes I hate washing the dishes. It is because I am tired preparing the ingredients of certain meals and cooking it.

@Shavkat I don't LIKE washing dishes and I usually wash the dishes as I'm cooking. That way there aren't a lot dirty when I get done making the meal.

I think everyone - males and females - should know how to run a household or at least know the basics. Good for you for keeping a clean and neat house.

You are so right. In fact, we can also teach the kiddies to do some of them. In China, kids are not taught to do household chores.

I give kudos to househusbands. May their tribe increase. You're lucky your job fits exactly with your house chores, or is it the other way around? Anyway, be proud that you can help out with the house chores.

I am sure that my mom will be proud of me in heaven. I took the responsibility for being the elder in the family. It was not easy but it is a wake-up call to change for a better version of my life.

It's always better to work from home provided you enough work and salary to keep yourself busy and money to feed yourself and your family.

Indeed. It was my primary reason why I decided to work at home.
