I panicked

Suddenly the Tataplay remote stopped working. I thought it needed new cells. I removed the cells from the smart tv remote and replaced the cells The situation did not improve. I then thought may be I could use the tv remote and put the cells back. When you have planned nothing for the evening but just to watch something on tv the thought of doing nothing bothered me. It worked but I did not know how to work on channels. I called up service and one of their technicians turned up. He then told me nothing was wrong with the cells nor the remote but the switch had come off. I now remember Beckie had gone in there. Silly me. Have you experienced anything like this?

Not that I remember. I am glad the technician came to check. No one would have turned up until Monday here.

I am guessing cells is the word that mean batteries in America? If so, I hate when my batteries die, and I have to find new ones. I try to have fresh ones available, but sometimes I forget.

It was just the loose plug that caused this Yes they are known both as cells and batteries.

I am not much good where technical matters are concerned . However, before we got cable and before the smart tv, l was very good at adjusting an antenna to get a better picture.

It was the loose plug that created this panic for me . Had I checked that I would not have had to spend unnecessarily.
