So title says it all.
I'm currently employted but I'm still looking for a 2nd job that I can do while staying at my first one. I'm specifically looking for a work from home (wfh) job, preferably non-voice and during my morning time here in Manila so I can still do my first job. I've seen some of my previous colleagues do it. They were lucky to get two jobs that exaclty fit what I'm looking for.
I submitted resumes last night and had two interviews earlier via Zoom. The first one didn't pan out. They only had temporary wfh jobs located in provinces. There is no guarantee how long it will be wfh. The second interivew had the same but I did manage to get information on the temporary wfh jobs - the accounts and the salary. Nothing interested me. The second though was promising because they are expecting to get permanent wfh job positions open in the next two weeks. My resuem will be in active file and once those positions are available, they will reach out. Although, I'm glad, I'm still not holding my breath and will continue looking for wfh jobs.
Anyone here had luck finding and getting a 2nd job?

Previously I freelanced for my second job on Upwork, I'm still a member but there are no job offers for the moment. I'm sad because now that I'm retired my freelance writing jobs are nowhere to be seen. You may want to try the site. You can do the tasks assigned during your free time, so you have a flexible time.
Here's the website: Good luck in finding the work that suits your skills. By the way, I've been successfully paid there so I can guarantee that it's a legitimate site where you can earn loads if you have the right skill. There are jobs for almost everyone.

I'm impressed you had success in upwork. I do hope to get a part time job them related to accounting or bookkeeping. Why are there available jobs?

@Jenaisle thanks for the link. I'm familiar with the site and I've read reviews that it is no longer a good site to look for freelance work. There are a lot of scammers in the site already.

@allen0187 I see. I have not come across anyone, though. I choose those with verified payments and those with good reviews

@yoalldudes depends on your field, I create curriculums and found all my jobs on a freelancing sites like Upwork and Freelancer. Just look for long term project based jobs in your field. Many freelancing sites have them.

No. I have a very tiring job. I am in a manufacturing company where I have to go in shifts that rotate every week. I have to closely monitor the daily output and I have to stay at least 9-10 hours a day so the possibility for me to take up a second job is nil. Although I still try my luck in stock market.

Thanks Carol.
There are a lot of jobs but only a few ones offer a work from home set-up which I prefer.

@CarolDM true.
From my experience applying in jobs, recruiters are doing a bait and switch tactic. They would say in their job post that it is a work from home job. When it is time to sign the contract, they would say that is a hybrid one or a onsite job. This happened to me twice already.

@allen0187 Many employers are mandating employees come in the office and not work at home here. But some are still ablel to work from home.

I am retired. I used to work for a non-profit that makes cold calls for clothing and household items. I had that and one at a fast food and, a customer service job.

Sounds like two really hard jobs - cold calling and customer service.

If you happen to be skilled at writing, you might want to submit your CV to Willis Towers Watson. I heard they'll start hiring writers and editors starting July. Head office is in BGC but WFH is allowed. Hcareers and Indeed also have listings for WFH jobs where you are.
I don't remember having a second FT/PT job, but I did manage to have repeat clients for years as a freelance writer.
