Its Funny, Teaching The Land OF The Feee To Be Free

It's sad. A lack of soul nutrition is one problem no one mentions, but I do look at the music, movies, stand-up comedy, biographies, language from before I was born (1980s) and think "Wow - what a quick down-turn after a few decades when the US was indeed great" and now we're just great at bombing the "wrong" countries (intentionally of course). It really is like the speech in the movie "Network". There are no countries. There is only power and money and control. Then again, people kill their own families for a dollar. Or burglarize their neighbors. In my early 20s I couldn't deal with it anymore, so I went to other continents, and wow. Let's just say we're told a lot of garbage. But living it is another thing. But it's not simple to just become a citizen a country in Europe, or Australia, or even Thailand, where I met many Americans, and wanted to teach English (and play music, write, etc) but it's very difficult when I have a houseful of instruments back in the US. I thought people would use the internet for good, and some have, but Assange was made an example of I guess.... I was just watching an interview from the 1970s on Robert Altman, discussing the movie "Nashville" which was another American microcosm movies. "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" is another. Greed, apathy, mediocrity is why the US is falling.
