It's Just a Routine Day

Happy Tuesday Everyone! it's hazy here today but the temperatures are decent. Not too cold and not too hot so there's no need for either the heat or the air conditioning. I have the sliding door open so there's a slight breeze coming in. I'm in slow mode this morning. It's nearly noon and I'm just finding time to be here. Can't say why, just that the time disappeared and I have no idea what I've been doing. I know I was busy making a grocery list and checking what we have on hand. This upcoming weekend is a holiday weekend so I put some stuff on the list that will be good on the barbecue. Corn on the cob is at the top of my list along with a watermelon. Today is just a quiet day with nothing much going on. Tonight my oldest daughter is coming over for dinner as my son in law will be at the fire house and my grandson is in Germany. I tempted her with a spaghetti and meatballs dinner We should have a good girls night and will probably find something to watch on tv or just chat

I like routine days. They're so comfortable. You get things done without realizing it and you can enjoy that cup of coffee knowing that somehow, it's getting done.
