Nice Sunday outing...lunch at our favourite place.

Good afternoon from this side of the planet . It's 1 PM as I write this post. The bright sunny day suddenly changed into a dark cloudy one just few minutes back. I rushed to the terrace and brought the clothes indoor. I did one load of laundry of our regular wear this morning and they are crisp and dry before the clouds arrived . I wanted to iron them and ger done with the work. But then it's power cut because of clouds and strong wind outside. Not sure if it will rain. Hope it does. Last week was my birthday week. My birthday came on Thursday, 25th. We had a small quiet celebration at home. My elder daughter sent me this cake in the picture with a bouquet and some chocolates for her younger sister.. So thoughtful of her. Being a weekday, we stayed at home and cut the cake. Had simple dinner. I liked the quiet celebration. On Sunday, my husband took us to our favourite JW Marriot for a elaborate buffet at lunch. I had a complete day off from cooking . We had one big banana for breakfast, enough to keep us going till we reached there. The buffet started from 12 and was till 3:30. Our nephew and niece also joined us there. We had good time with family over good food and ambience . Back home, we watched light entertainment movie Durga and then my nephew and niece left. We were full enough to skip the dinner and just relish a glass of mango shake . It would be a busy week, with few appointments to take care of and also some packing to do as I travel on the coming weekend. I will be not so much available here till mid June, but I promise to keep coming here whenever I can and catch up with you. My first appointment today is with my salon at 3 PM. Need a hair cut and pedicure. Till then I would like to finish some mylotting and few chores. Take care in your myLot corner
