I was kind of leaning toward a flea bite. Jax doesn't have fleas now, but he might have had a few before he got his Bravecto collar. However, the bite also looks like a possible spider bite. However, I think I got it in my slipper, and it would be hard for me not to notice it in there. Well, anyway, I simply must wash these slippers prior to wearing them again. Two days before New Year a tiny spider bit me. I think that it was not a brown recluse (I eouldn´t be here) but it sure was a close cousin. It took 3 months and a lot of money in creams and pills to leave me almost fine. Now I have a Raid spray in my room.

That is too bad. You might be allergic to them. As I mentioned last year, I had a serious spider bite..which was painful and itchy. It was the middle of the night, so I told myself if it was like that tomorrow I would seek medical help. It improved throughout the night though, in the morning..it was much better.

It was itchy, but I have a benadryl pen that helps with that.

Some spider bites can really cause a lot of damage. My sis got bit by a brown recluse once. She was in the hospital for days, as when that spider bites a person, it causes a lot of skin damage and infection. She darn near lost part of her foot. I know some people like spiders, but I am not one of those people. I hate getting bit by bugs.

I had a spider bite last year that was very itchy and swollen plus showed signs of infection on my arm. It was in the middle of the night and didn't want to go out but told myself if like that in the AM I would seek medical help.

@LadyDuck Well, glad nothing new is afoot. Anytime I am in the yard for any length of time, I but on bug spray. Better safe than sorry!

I have so.e thing a bit like that too. I asked the doctor about it. She said it could be omething, and I should have it checked a dermtologit.
