Advance birthday celebrations / myLot

My grandson will be celebrating his 14th birthday on Saturday. He has been with me for a few weeks now. His younger brother too joined us last weekend. My daughter will be picking them up tomorrow to celebrate his birthday at home. Hence today we had a celebration with just the three of us. Nothing grand. Just ordered their favourite pizza and cold drinks. Am still trying to figure out what to gift him. Want to take something that will help him learn something. Pic is my own

Yes he will have two celebrations. Since I was not going to his place for his birthday I thought we would celebrate together at my house.

He is not too expressive about his likes and dislikes. That's why it is more difficult to decide what to give. I would have preferred to give him what he likes rather than giving him gifts of my choice always.

One good thing about him is that he appreciates whatever is given to him. All these years I have never heard him saying that he has not liked a gift. Wish his younger brother was like him.

@noni1959 Yes he loved them all. And he has kept all of them at my place and did not take it with him when he went back to his parents as he was worried his siblings would spoil them.
