Have you ever fainted?

This morning I attended a flag ceremony.. and, I fainted. My blood pressure was low, it's only 90/60. This is my first ever fainted. Well, it's not that bad. At least, I have such experience LOL. I have chicken satay with peanut sauce for my lunch. I'm so glad I still can enjoy my food. It's a holiday in Indonesia so I'll take some rest. How about you? Have you ever fainted?

Yes, I've fainted twice that I remember. Once when I was having my blood drawn, I passed out and fell off the table in the doctor's office I was sitting on... When I woke up, three tiny ladies were trying to pick me up off the floor. It was funny to me and I started laughing. They let me sit on the floor until I felt okay to stand up again. The second time my BP dropped suddenly and I fainted at work. I passed out as I was going through the break room door. When I woke up one of the older ladies from work had my head in her lap and was stroking my hair, telling me everything would be okay... An ambulance crew was checking my vitals and took me to the hospital. Pretty made cashew chicken for our supper tonight. It was delicious.

One of the times I fainted was at a doctor’s office, and he insisted on calling an ambulance, because like you, my blood pressure and heart rate were really low. That doctor told me later one of the medics had the nerve to ask him if I could have caused this myself in my head. That made my doctor MAD. Like I could have made my own blood pressure plummet?!

@AmbiePam I'm sorry that happened. Like you doctor, I don't know of any way you can mentally make your BP drop. That medic needs to go back to school.

Yes, I have fainted four times in my life, the last three times being because of low blood pressure. A few years ago it happened as I was at the doctor, and he made me go to the hospital for it; I was not happy. I’m glad you are okay, and hopefully it won’t happen to you again.

Not sure if it counts as fainting, but I did feel like my world was spinning around and couldn't open my eyes for a few minutes when I was getting my blood drawn years ago.

I fainted once due to blood loss. I had a miscarriage and I passed out in the middle of the street as I was on my way to work. Passers-by helped me up and propped me into a chair until I regained consciousness. I'm glad you're doing good now. Stay healthy. my friend. Borahae.

Glad that you are okay. Enjoy your meal. I have fainted twice because of blood loss and BP dropping. First time it was after my younger daughter's birth when I had a haemorrhage and excessive blood loss. The second time was when I had fallen from the scooter that my friend was riding. There was not much blood loss, but I guess the anxiety and all the blood coming out from my hands and feet made me pass out for few minutes. Good that I had a strong helmet and my head was safe.
