Now in May and June there is summer season in Bengal. It is the season where maximum varieties of fruits are available. Litchies taste sweet. Guavas are sweet. The black jamun also is liked by people. Many people love the bananas. The jackfruit is liked also. Also the himsagar langra and fojli mangoes are very popular.

My favorite fruit is peaches of different types... I used to buy them by the large box and eat almost nothing else until the peach season was over... I can't eat them like that anymore but I still love them. I eat a large variety of fruits during the warm seasons and eat some of those same fruit canned or frozen even in Winter.

We also have litchies here and I like that. They are very sweet and juicy. I like to put them into the refrigerator at first and the cooler lichies taste well in hot summer. We don't have jamun here and I already checked how it looked like via the net. It seems to be an interesting fruit.
