I love a Good Sale

Happy Thursday or happy the day before Friday 
it's sunny and fairly warm today. Looks like summer might be making an appearance. We haven't had any rain and the grass is starting to look brown again.
Usually I wake up to the sound of the lawn mowers on Thursdays but I guess they are off their regular schedule because of the holiday this week. Trash goes out a day later so I'm assuming the lawn crew will be here tomorrow since they didn't show up today.
I've been busy working on the baby blanket I'm making for my daughter to give as a gift for a baby shower she's going to next weekend. I'm about 3/4 of the way done. It's really such a pretty combination of colors (shades of purples and gray).
I found the yarn I'm using at one of my shopping sprees and I bought it on a whim. I really liked it but didn't know what I would make with it so when my daughter got the invitation to the baby shower it seemed like it would be perfect as a baby blanket.
I love to crochet and always have a project going. In fact, I have an order that's supposed to come from Hobby Lobby any day now. They not only had yarn on sale but also offered free shipping. With a sale like that I couldn't resist and I didn't even have to leave the house.
Both my daughters just shake their heads when I insist I need more yarn

@Marilynda1225 Much better, thanks. I'm so thankful to be getting the 30 Botox injections for my migraines soon. It's had to be put off forever because of surgeries and antibiotics.

@1creekgirl I can understand that you are anxious to be able to get your Botox for your migraines soon. Even though I haven't been here as much as I'd like too lately you have been in my thoughts. I'm glad your feeling better

I have a hard time resisting spices, especially if it something new I can add to my collection. It isnt as weird as it sounds. I would guess half of mine should be replaced. They don't last forever. There is a yarn store in a town about 45 minutes from here. I think they sell nothing but yarn. You would be in hog heaven there, It has some cute name, but I forgot what it is. Actually, I just looked it up. It is called "Center of the Yarniverse." It is a take off on the town nickname, which they call Center of the Universe.

Thtat's a really cute name for that yarn shop and yes I would be in hog heaven. I have a passion for yarn and there's so much to choose from these days.
I can understand your love of spices. I have quite a few myself but probably not nearly as much as you have. What's your favorite and most used?

I can certainly understand that. When my grandkids were little I was constantly buying them stuff. There's so much cool stuff to buy for little ones these days.

I learned when I was a teenager and am grateful that I learned. Nowadays there's so many tutorials available that I bet you could easily learn now

I am sure the blanket will be beautiful, Sounds like really nice colors, I have to watch every penny and the most I spend each month is on my once a month grocery order,

We need rain badly too. I used to buy a lot of craft supplies; but now with arthritis so bad in my hands, I've given most of it to Goodwill. Here's hoping you have a good weekend. Please take a picture of the baby blanket so we can all see it!
