Do you have a comfort food?

It rained and we got thunderstorms this afternoon, it is colder than yesterday. I decided to make a soup for dinner and
I still have some cod fritters leftovers. Soup has always been my comfort food, especially in cold days. During summer I prefer salads as soup is too hot.
Spent the day at home, doing some house chores. I planned to do some laundry but the weather didn't help so I will do that tomorrow.
How was your day? Do you have a comfort food? What is for dinner?

My favorite food is a bowl of instant noodles, but I shouldn't eat it too often. Only once a week.

No matter what the temperature, soup is a true comfort food for me. I eat soup year-round. I hope you have a good day!

Well, we eat hot foods all year round, so in rationalizing it, soup is just another one of them. It's just good food to me.

It's a perfect day for a comforting soup with the rainy and cold weather, and leftovers like cod fritters are always a convenient option. House chores can be adjusted based on the weather, so tackling the laundry tomorrow seems like a sensible plan.

I am not a fan of chicken soup, only eat it when I am sick but my kids and my husband loves it.

I always like savory food over sweet. And soup is also one of my favourites. Especially if eaten in cold weather. But, the weather in my country right now is summer. So of course I had more cold drinks.

I adore soup on a cold day, too! My go-to comfort meal is a bowl of tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich, like my mom used to make for me.
