One week ago today a bear who was in Evergreen Colorado, a person who owns a pickup truck made an error in judgement by leaving food inside when a black bear seeing the food inside of the pickup truck decided to help himself or herself since the gender of the animal is not known. Colorado Parks and Wildlife Northwest Region officials answered the call for help from the owner of the pickup truck by keeping their distance from the bear that was trapped inside by opening the door of the pickup truck. The bear managed to get out of the pickup truck safely and go back to the woods unharmed. Link is upi.com/7231686170186 via @upi

That is very true since black bears are known for staying away from engaging with a fight against a human unless their life is in danger.

You would think people in that area would have heard enough stories to make sure they didn’t leave food around. I guess it happens to almost everybody at some point.

That is true since many people do not do their part to keep food away from the sight of bears in the woods.

Oh that was really bad call from the driver. I think the bear must have been pretty hungry as it tried to destroy the truck's interior. I really could not figure out the picture above. I could only figure out the bear eyes and nose?

It is likely the bear's eyes and nose in the image that was released on UPI.com.

Bears have a highly developed sense of smell it seems.

I have noticed that bears see or smell food, they will go after a meal quickly.

Bears have one thing in mind, finding enough food to survive each day. I'm glad it wasn't harmed.

That is true since bears need food like the need to breathe.
