Deputies in Idaho rescue a man and his dog who fell into the Snake River

Thanks to an eyewitness who saw a man whose name was not mentioned was driving his truck, camper and trailer left the road near Heise Idaho on Saturday that fell off of the road and into the Snake River. The driver of the truck was able to swim to safety after he was able to get out of his truck even though his dog was still in the river. First responders as well as deputies from the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) were able to get the accident victim airlifted to Eastern Idaho Medical Center who nearly died from hypothermia. The good news is that the accident victim is expected to make a full recovery. The dog that belongs to the accident victim was found aboard a camper floating in the Snake River. The dog is in good condition after the rescue that was executed by the local fire department, the sheriff's office and Air Idaho Rescue team members.
