I'm slowly getting to know more some of the members here. I would want to mention names but I might commit an error because sometimes my memory fails me, so I will just mention some of the things that I learned from other members.
1. I met one person who had twins
2. Two people who are good with Bible or sage passages
3. A person who plays the guitar and he sings too, so there are 2 people who sing
4. A Star Seller who always sold out his merchandise
5. Two academic professors
6. A biker who travels many times within a month
7. Many dog and cat lovers
8. Various good people, who motivate and encourage other members.
9. A computer engineer
And many members whom I can remember a thing or two about them from their discussions.
What about you? Do you usually remember some or all of the things that a member posted in his/her discussions?

I agree with @Gillygirl. A getting to know you post would be good, usually there isn't much information in most profiles. However some members would prefer to be private.

Strange that I almost wrote a post on such lines. Just mentioning something and you would know who I am talking about. For example - horse endurance test, auction, fairy doors, Yvonne, Pretty...... I could go on

I tend to remember quite a few things about Mylot members, of course the ones I remember the most about are the members who have been here almost as long as I have. But some people here are such characters, I can’t help remember so many things about them!

If I bothered to remember, then maybe. But there's just too many people to even try. I post to discussions I like and call it a day.

I remember those I frequently interact with not only in my discussion but mostly in theirs. I remember the old members who I became close to but already passed away or simply stopped mylotting.

@toniganzon May they rest in peace. I still know some of our Pinoy Mylotters who were here before. I will try to convince then to join again.
Happy MyLotting.

I guess I can't remember all the details of a myLot member, but if I were to describe them, you'd probably get who I was talking about . My posts tend to be personal but general . . . I think more people get to know me through the back and forth comments.

I thought about what you wrote here. Yes, we associate people with labels, don't we? Which is ok, it helps us remember who likes what and such, I understand that.
I like it when people share bits and pieces of their ''real'' lives, and their feelings on subjects, or talk of their families. I also like that some people sometimes share their feelings about someone or something, we are all human, and so many people never share anything in real life. It helps to know the people better when they share life with us.
There are some special people in here from all walks of life. We can all learn from each other and support each other. Sounds rather sappy, but it works.
You wrote a good post, Jenaisle.

Thank you, Marie. You're one of the members that I draw inspiration and motivation from. You're always an optimist and a great support for all members here. We're lucky to have you around.
You're right, that there are things we share here that we could not even share in real life. And yes, we all learn from each other. I learned a lot from you, as we share tiny bits and pieces of our real life.
Take care and have a wonderful weekend.

@Jenaisle
Thank you for touching my heart with your sweet words, so special...I know I don't deserve such praise, I just try to listen and help if and when I can. I have learned much from you and from many others, as well. A good friend, even if we haven't met in person, is to be appreciated, and treasured as well.
I hope your weekend is wonderful.

Sometimes I'll remember something a person says but maybe not actually who the person was. I always feel bad when that happens. I've been here for many years so there are a lot of myLotters that I've been talking to for a long time so I do remember their names etc.
