Faith in humanity restored

I was at the supermarket today in need of sugar and cream for my coffee. I can't drink my coffee black. I only had a few dollars so instead of buying cream and sugar separately which would have put me over my limit, I decided to get some hot chocolate mix. This way I can add some coffee to it and have mocha without going over my budget. I had enough money to fully pay for it but it would have to be split between debit and cash. The cashier was not giving me that option. It was either cash or debit, not both. The woman behind me heard my plight and offered to pay for it for me. I thanked her profusely and left the market with my item and with a renewed faith in humanity.

There are many different kinds of people in this world, but there are always some willing to help someone in need out. Next time you make your coffee you will have a smile on your face for the good deed done for you.

That was so sweet of that lady! But what was the cashier’s problem? I’ve done that before too. I’m glad the lady was so kind.

I have done that many times with others retailers. It must be this particular store's policy. God bless that lady.

That's so awesome, every once in a while we'll come across people like that still. Just shows that there's still very nice people in the evil world. Hot chocolate sounds very good in coffee, I can't drink my black either.
