I find this type of hairstyle not only unhealthy but inconvenient one having to lift the hair from one's eye over and over again Whoever invented this hairstyle surely was aware of what it would do to the eyes and to one's well being. More worrying is that there are many who go for this hairstyle all because it is trendy knowing fully well it will do them no good. Have you or anyone around you are sporting this hairstyle? What is your opinion?

I don’t like it, it looks stupid to me. Why would anyone want to cover their eye? Doesn’t make sense.

@allknowing I know, but I don’t know why they;want their hair in their eyes. That’s as bad as one side of the head shaved.

@allen0187 No wonder such styles are popular as there will be many like you who appreciate women with one eye closed (lol)

Meddling with hair whether on the eye or not is a fashion statement

@allknowing I have heard on You Tube channels that when a celeb takes a picture with hair over their eye or place their hand over their eye it is a message of "Big brother is watching you."

I have a friend who wears her hair like this. She has a blunt-cut shoulder length style, all one length, and parts it on the side. Of course that long hank of hair is always either having to be pushed out of her eyes, or she can't see. That would annoy me terribly, it is not the style I would want. I don't want to be touching my hair every 2 minutes. I don't understand this style at all.

Touching is trendy The other day I saw on tv someone who had no hair on her face but she kept pushing hair that did not exist. These celebrities will forever do that and yes it annoys me no end

@allknowing I don't honestly pay attention to many celebrities, but I have noticed the hair covering one eye for a long time, and I do not find it pleasing or attractive. It's kind of like torn up jeans--a fad, and oh, I hope it passes. I especially do not like it when a store clerk has that hairstyle, and keeps pushing the hair back and handling whatever it is they are selling, not necessarily foods, but everything from clothing to hardware. Enough already.

I don't have this style, and it seems annoying, but I don't really care what other people do with their hair. It doesn't seem to be in style currently where I live, though.

I didn't like it. They keep moving the hair covering the eye again and again , if its so uncomfortable , I don't understand why do they follow such trends

The entire half of the face is covered. Perhaps those who wear that style want to see what it feels like to see out of one eye.
