The Light of Jesus

I love John 8:12 which states, "Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Darkness seems to be all around us these days, so I keep my eyes and heart on Jesus, and not on the darkness or on the storms that besiege me in this life. . It's always wonderful that He is so near and the Holy Spirit so very comforting. The picture contains a wonderful quote by Dieter F. Uchtdorf about the Light. “With Christ, darkness cannot succeed. Darkness will not gain victory over the light of Christ.” How beautiful Christ is. The picture is from Pixabay and I added the words (though not very well). I'm using an antiquated paint app that came with my computer. :)
