Feelings, nothing more than feelings. Trying to forget my feelings of love. Teardrops rolling down on my face. Trying to forget my feelings of love. Feelings, for all my life I'll feel it. Since the title and first paragraph are so maddingly vague, I'm going to spell it out for you: This one is about Feelings. But not the negative feelings you may suspect. Not that negative feelings aren't valid but this one is all about the positive ones. That's why "Feelings" isn't the Cosmic Universal Anthem Song Of The Month Club Song For Today. Well, that and it, musically speaking, isn't my cup of Do-Re-Mi-Tea. I think Dionne Warwick did a far better job of expressing the same sentiment when she said, "What do you get when you fall in love? You only get lies and pain and sorrow." Another problem is that the whole, "Love sucks, so why bother," thing is only true sometimes and it's a huge risk to just assume it's going to go bad. So, it's safest to just go with Sir Paul McCartney, who once said, "Only know that when I'm in it, love isn't silly at all,"---And keep in mind that his first marriage lasted 29 years, only ending when Linda died of cancer. So listen to him because he has a good track record. But, since this one is about feelings, not love or music, or music about love, let's get back on track. If we had more time, I'd go through the list and tell you the ones I agree with and the ones I think are overrated. I'd also find a list of feelings that women find most pleasurable.
