NIght, Night little deer. I really do have to get my better camera out because last evening, the deer I was talking about before was lying down in the open taking a nap in my yard. She will probably return tonight because from what I read they are like cats and have the same sleeping places for awhile before they change. It is unusual for them to be in the open like that to sleep, but what I read says if they feel safe and they have open area around them and can see all sides they will sometimes do that especially if there is food around. I will look for her tonight. I was surprised to see it last night, but I won't be tonight.

Some probably do, but they are wild animals. Have you ever been to the keys? THose key deer they have there are the cutest. I wouldn't mind having one of them for a pet! Not that I would ever kidnap one though.

I appreciate the deer eating grass...less to mow... It's a win, win.

Our local FB page has been showing deer sleeping in peoples yards. I don't think I've seen that before and here you are experiencing the same thing.
The only thing I saw in my yard last evening was a bunny hopping around.

You rarely see those here. If you do, they don't tend to last long.
