No July 1st celebrations this year

July 1st is Canada Day in Canada but the celebrations will be halted or delayed...at least in the Maritimes... because of rainy weather. It's going to rain all weekend with no hint of sunshine until Wednesday. The first long weekend of summer and I'm stuck indoors. That really sucks.

I'm sorry that's happening there. Our 4th of July celebration is "on hold" this year due to extreme heat. There hasn't been a new date selected for the fireworks display yet.

No parade, no fireworks, no harbor boat tour party, no Concerts on Citadel Hill...

@Starmaiden That kind of stuff I’d miss too.

That's no fun. I didn't see any celebrations this year, but at least it didn't rain.

I’m sorry to hear that. Between rain and the wildfires Canada’s having a rough summer. Even if you can’t have the celebration I still wish you a very happy Canada Day!

It helped immensely in my province. Rain has yet to spill on some of the others.

It really sucks when we get stuck due to the bad weather.

good share. Does Canada day mean the day when Canada got independence?

Sorry, that is happening. Even though it's hot in Texas I think they we are going to have our on time this year, hopefully anyway.
