Getting locked out.

I have had some new doors fitted and although the doors are great, I do not get on with the new locks. They are much more complicated to use than my old ones were. I think they are supposed to be better for security reasons , but I find them very hard to unlock.
Now I am worried that I may get locked in or locked out. Have you ever been locked out ? If you did, what did you do to get back in again?

@lazydaizee - I would hate to have a complicated lock, I always far to do something wrong and to "block" a door.

@LadyDuck I am worried about doing something wrong with my locks. I have never been any good with locks unless they open easily straight away.

I hope I do not get locked out, although I now keep a list of locksmiths phone numbers in my bag, just in case.

I find it difficult to adapt to new things these days, maybe it is a sign of getting old. Something as easy as a new handbag can throw me out because I cannot remember where I put things if the bag is a lot different to my previous one.

Oh, new doors can be both exciting and challenging! I totally get you; those fancy locks can be tricky sometimes. I've been locked out once, and it was quite an adventure! I ended up calling a locksmith who saved the day. Hope you find a solution soon, and remember, you're not alone in this lock dilemma!

It seems to be a problem with people all over the world. Was your locksmith very expensive and did you have a long wait for him?
