His Pink Lady For His Late Wife

Visited my neighbor yesterday. He has such a nice memorial garden for his wife and one for his little dog, Oreo that passed. Such a joy to visit with him, always. I reminded him to stay inside with this heat advisory we are having. His heart issues and age are also red flags. He said he would, after he cut his grass early this morning. I will keep a check out and make sure he goes inside. He added this pretty pink lady statue to his memorial garden for his late wife. He said he placed it in the very spot she used to sit in the rock garden. They had just made the rock garden and a few flowers when she got diagnosed with cancer. Since then he has added more flowers and items to remember her. This pink lady caught his eye while out shopping he said. She loved pink and he said it is like having her in the garden with him. Made me so happy to hear this. I have never seen such a pink statue before. I enjoyed the visit as always. Photo is mine.

I love that pink lady. I also love the idea of a memorial garden and passed along this idea to a friend recently. She recently lost a granddaughter and I thought of Dustin's garden

I have never seen a pink statue either, but that is a beautiful decorative ornament to add to the memorial garden. Such a wonderful addition.

Absolutely he loves her, they were together over 50 years. As for the afterlife, I am still not sure. However, I hope I do see my son again. Just not sure how that will all work out and it what form.

He is the best Anna. Everyone that knows him loves him. Would do anything for anyone. I try to check on him when I can especially in this heat.

@LadyDuck Yes of course he does. They were together over 50 years. He is going to NY again this month to visit his older son. His daughter and grandson will be going along. He really looks forward to these visits.

Pink was her favorite color. Looks perfect sitting on the rocks. He did stay inside and will mow today thankfully. Enjoy your day.
