Yesterday we went out to lunch down town to celebrate my Mum and Step-Dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary. I was going to travel down there with them in the car and then walk back afterwards after getting some photos printed. First thing in the morning, I've already told some of you about this, I was still in bed and my Mum knocked on the door and said, Sharon, are you awake? and I said yes. And she said they're going to be interviewing Sam Ryder. And I said when? And she said, after the break, now. You have never seen me get up and get dressed so fast! I was in the living room in less than 2 minutes, and the commercials were still on. He was really good as usual. After they'd interviewed him they said he was going to be doing a little acoustic bit later, so I quickly went off to go to the toilet and I combed my hair and I was back for his acoustic bit. Later, during the following programme, Lorraine was interviewing Delta Goodrem and they were talking about how she'd like to perform with Sam Ryder, and he came on and surprised her! i really enjoyed watching Sam Ryder. We started getting ready to go out at 11:15am. We actually went out the door at a few minutes past midday. We parked the car in the car park and my step-dad didn't have to pay because he's got a blue badge. We walked down the alley to go to town, and two homeless lads started talking to us. We were there a few minutes talking to them. My Mum told them it was their 50th Wedding Anniversary and they congratulated them. We were talking about church and they said they'll come to church on Sunday. When we got to the Jungle Street Kitchen where we were going to have lunch, the young lady who greeted us pulled 3 tables together so that we could all sit on the comfy seats. It took us a while to choose what we wanted. A lad came over to take our order, and my Mum said, Come back in 2 hours and we might be ready! I chose a Tai Green Curry with prawns and a ginger, lemon and lime drink. My Mum and step-dad both had Jerk Chicken and black currant and lemonade. My curry was nice but it was a bit spicy! The young lady came by and asked us how our food was and I said it's a bit hot, so she brought me some sour cream to help take the heat off, and that worked, and also I was having a sip of my drink inbetween every other mouthfull. I still managed to finish first, and I ate it all despite it being so spicy. Actually it wasn't so bad after a while. They were playing pop music in the background and I kept thinking, play Sam Ryder, play Sam Ryder! After a while Living Without You came on. (It's the last track on Sam's There's Nothing But Space Man CD album, but it's not on the vinyl.) I recognised it after 2 notes! I made a silly little squeaky noise and then I was singing along under my breath! It's not even my favourite Sam Ryder song but it was just good to hear it being played! After I'd finished my drink, which I kept taking a sip of every time the ice melted a bit, I put my coat on and said I was going to get my photos printed and then I'd walk home. They were nearly ready to go anyway. They had to leave some of their food because it was too much. I got 10 photos printed at the shop and it came to just over £5. I gave a £20 note so I got plenty of change. The photos I got printed were 7 with the little dog on from art class, and then 3 to use as reference photos for drawing. I then went to the toilet by the Cathedral and came home round the top path round Stowe Pool. There were a lot of geese on Stowe Pool and a couple and their two kids were feeding some of them. When I got home the car was on the drive but my Mum and step-dad hadn't got out of it yet. So I went up to Mum's side and said, how long have you been sitting there? She said, oh, we got talking to our friends down the alley again! I opened the door with my key and left it on the inside of the door for them while I went and got out of my coat and shoes. I didn't have anything for dinner because I was still full, but I had a cup of green tea and some pomegranate seeds and I watched Home and Away and Hollyoaks. What did you get up to yesterday? Have a great day.

@sharon it’s good that you got your hair combed just in time to watch Sam Ryder - it would have been in very poor taste to watch him looking like a scarecrow.

Thank you very much! (Not that he would have been able to see!) Actually my hair still wasn't combed when he was being interviewed, I went back and combed my hair inbetween the interview and his acoustic performance!
