Last night, I officially took a plunge and applied to adopt a cat during my pet rescue clinic's volunteer/staff clinic. She's the second cat I saw in the Feature Room. I didn't get a chance to ask questions to Jenna and Sam, unless they arrived after I left. So when my bus arrived at 6 PM, I handed in my application to adopt Bailey, a 1 year-old White/Black DSH cat. When I first met her in the Feature Room, she let me pet her and fed her treats. When I left the room to check out the other cats, she meowed by the glass door, waiting for me. Then when I returned, she was under the cat tree, and then on her cat bed. I knew she had to be the one to take home. During work, the shelter called me this morning to tell me I was approved to bring Bailey home. She only cost $90. And a little over an hour ago, I took her home with me. She's now in my bedroom. The cat adoption search is officially over.

Some just seem to be our kitties from the start. 90 dollars is a lot to adopt a cat, but I assume she is spayed and has all her shots. I hope you and Bailey are very happy together.

Yep. Spayed and had all her shots at the clinic--flea, rabies, heartworm, microchip, etc. She just need to go to the vet next summer. Very happy Snowy. She's a delight.
