Ah, that is our monthly obligation to pay bills and sometimes credits or loans. When I was still working and earning every month I had the chance to experience paying for the bills and groceries. Its fun when you can fulfill that responsibility. I did those when my siblings are still studying and I am the first in the siblings to graduate and got hired.
I experienced paying for my dorm rent wgeb I decuded to go out of the house to work . When I was renting a space , water and ekectric bills were excluded . All I have to think of is my daily meal and laundry. I applied for a credit line fir my meal and laundry in our dorm and it will be paid every payday , so its not that a burden as an employee that time.
Everytime I recieve my salary I always alot for my credit line and grocery. Im proud I was able to do those and I experienced budgeting and now knows the value of not just money but work and being independent.
I want that to happen with my siblings too so that they would know .But my mom is spoiling them and I was like Oh! okay.
Being independent is a mixture of adventure and fulfillment.
When was the first day you became independent? You go out of your parebts house and care and live by yourself and paid your bills?
Was it fun and easy for you?
For me I never regret experiencing it. Its a wonderful lesson to be learned actually.
p.s. in the picture was our credit card payment for our groceries.

Because of health problems, I wasn’t completely independent in every way from my parents for good until I was twenty-five years old. I had moved out before, and had jobs, but finally, at that age, I no longer required any help.
And yes, it is a very good feeling to be able to fully get by on your own.

I think all children need to be taught how to budget. You aren't doing your children any favors by spoiling them and paying bills for them.

I have been independently since around the summer of 2009. It is a mixed blessing since I do not have to work at a delivery food business anymore and concentrate on sharing good news stories here and complete surveys.

It's good that your are responsible with money. After the bills are paid there is very little left for saving, at least with me.

I agree with you, it's always fulfilling to buy groceries for your family and help pay bills in the house.

I went out on my own at 18. I had a 3 year old son to support and a good job. I bought and paid cash for a mobile home for the two of us. A year later at 19 I met and married my first husband.
