Today is National French Fry Day? Did you know that? It was on the news today. Do you have a favorite type of French fry? I tend to like the steak fries—I like how they are thick. I think FiveGuys Burgers has good fries. They are soft and made with peanut oil. They have the consistency of mashed potatoes. A lot of diners have very good fries. Do you have a favorite? Or do you like a different side dish or potato dish?

Explains why we could've gotten free fries today if I'd acted enough. Although, they skimped on our order.

I like home fries from diners the most. I am kind of particular about my French fries, as I don’t like them too thick, but definitely not stringy. Regular fried potatoes are my favorite.

That is about how I feel too. Home or steak fries where it is some crisp on the outside, with completely cooked, soft potato inside. Not too much salt.
