Getting back out after being home to much

Monday my husband came home from work and his glasses had broken. He took the dogs to the game lands to run and while he was there his contact fell out. Driving home couldn’t have been very easy and there’s no cell service where he was to call me to bring him an extra paid of contacts.
Tuesday the water company came and looked in my cellar. There is a leak on the line. I told them about it well before winter and they never came back to fix it. It’s leaking pretty bad outside and they plan to fix it soon. I will be very glad when my cellar floor and walls are no long very damp all the time.
Tuesday morning I took the baby and my niece to story hour. They each got to pick out a free book.
Wednesday I had to take my oldest daughter to the DMV. While in the area we went to a park to find a geocache and were happily surprised to find a splash pad that my two girls played at. We visited two new little free libraries while we were out too and got groceries.
Today (Thursday) I got up early and drove my oldest nephew a mile to work. I knew I had to be home by 1pm to drive him home after his shift was done so I had a really short outing with my baby and my stepson. I got him new shoes and picked up prizes we won from doing the fairy door trail. We were blown away by all the gifts!
After dinner the baby and my son and I went to town for a hometown days event that my oldest daughter was a part of. We didn’t stay long. I got the baby some fudge and that was it.

@Daddyevil mentally I’m doing pretty bad but it was nice to get out these busy few days. Quite a few more busy days then my kids and I go on vacation.

@DaddyEvil nope thank you for asking though.
I just realized my daughters bday is coming up the last day of the month and I haven’t gotten her a single thing. I’m not even sure when is have time to go shopping. Maybe while my kids and I are on vacation.

This fairy doors thing is new to me and I am happy for you that you are in it and enjoying it.

@allknowing this is a local woman who created the fairy door event. It’s for one month kids get clues to go around and find where they are hidden. There were 15 this year. There was extra things to do to earn points for a raffle of a grand prize. We won that and that’s what I just picked up yesterday.
Busy this weekend and next week then vacation with my kids

@snowy22315 well my kids and I will be going on vacation next week I’m not sure if it will be relaxing or busy though. I’m not a fan of just sitting around doing nothing so I’m sure we will find plenty to keep us busy.

Certainly sounds like you've been burning the candle at both ends. Hope things calm down a bit for you. It probably felt good to get out of the house for awhile and add some fun things into your otherwise stressful schedule.

@Marilynda1225 most the days it felt good but yesterday was so rushed and I had so many things I needed to get taken care of before bed that I was in full panic mode. Everything got done that needed to be done though expect getting photos of the baby opening her fairy door grail gifts on Facebook. It could wait until today.

Lucky there the water company fixes leaks well here it takes a while before they fixed it

@leighnyork it’s been about 9 months since I called about it. That’s among time for water to be leaking. I’m worried about my foundation if they don’t get it done soon since it’s leaking heavier now.
