Why is Black More Expensive Than White?

I've long noticed this with undergarments like bras and panties.
Recently, I bought cotton camisoles - one skin tone, one black - same brand, same design, same size.
Skin tone 150 Philippine pesos = 2.76 US dollars
Black 210 pesos = 3.86 dollars
Difference 60 pesos = 1.10
Have you noticed the same?
Is black fabric more expensive to produce?

And all this time, I thought it was because it needed more dye to produce.

@merrybelle2021 No, but I can understand why one might think that.

I agree with you. Black makes you look slimmer than your usual shape

Black undergarments are considered "sexy" in most countries while white or beige colored undergarments are considered plain or utilitarian for every day use.
It's the same here, too.

@merrybelle2021 Yup! You're paying for the thoughts that black fabric brings.

I could understand if the fabric was difference. It never occurred to me that you're paying extra for the "feels."

It was suggested by others that it's because black feels sexier.
I prefer beige/skin tones.
