This made me laugh!

Last weekend my friend hired a shredder so she could cut back an overgrown bush in her garden and chop up the branches.
Unfortunately it didn’t all go to plan. It was a showery day so not ideal for working on this sort of thing. And the shredder was a petrol-powered machine with a pull start, and it didn’t start very easily and then when it did it would only run for a little while before stopping again. So my friend was pulling the cord, shoving branches in as fast as she could, then when it stopped she had to open it all up to clear out any blockages, put it back together, pull the cord again, drag more branches over, feed them in…. and all the time thinking about how much it had cost to hire this machine and shouting and swearing at it when it stopped.
Eventually it started to get dark, so feeling very tired and frustrated and really quite upset she went to look for her husband to see if he was able to help at all, maybe have some ideas on why it kept stopping. And what do you think he said?
‘Can you go and ask Fleur?’
Unfortunately I was away (which she knew) so that wasn’t an option. Eventually she managed to get some help from a friend’s cousin, who tweaked a few things and managed to get it going much better, so she did get through everything in the end.
But when she told me the story I had to laugh.

Asking you to figure out what was wrong sounds like the right thing to do, in my opinion... It's not her hubby's fault you were neglecting your duties in the neighborhood.
I'm glad somebody was able to help her get the shredder running correctly.

Her husband knows well you know a thing or two about such sort of gardening apparatus . Your friend seems not to know the rope.
