Online Shopping

Who is a fan of online shopping? I love shopping, period! However, I don't get to shop as much as I would like because of my budget. I have always preferred in-store shopping. I like to look at the products before I buy them. I enjoy interacting with people. However, the customer service arena is, now, a like going into a cemetery. You are going to no interaction, and if you do they are "dead". Employees are rude. There is no longer a dress code, so you wonder if you are at a circus or a department store. I am quickly becoming a fan of online shopping. Most of my online shopping is on amazon, even though I disagree with most of their politics and philosophies. I have recently ordered from Temu. Their products are good. Their delivery is prompt. However, I don't like buying from China. I prefer American-made products, yet, American products are so expensive one would have to sell off parts of their liver to afford them. Plus American products are not as pretty and varied. Now when it comes to my coffee, it is nothing but American companies with conservative values: Cousin T's, American Pride Roasters, and Fire Department Coffee. And those are products that can only be found online.

I preferred to shop from a physical store for the longest time until the Covid lockdowns forced me to purchase online. I think I like to do both - I prefer to get my groceries from an actual grocery, same with clothing and shoes. The rest I can probably just order online.

The elites behind the covid rampage destroyed many businesses. It breaks my heart at how many people lost their livelihoods. I pray they can make a come back and be more successful than ever.

I love the convenience of online shopping and I have been doing it even before amazon days for about 17 years now. The reason why I love online shopping is that I could get items that I couldn't see in the malls or any of the shops here and I could get it cheaper online. But I still enjoy going to the malls and shopping there. I don't buy clothing online. I only buy shoes online if it's the brand that I frequently buy and pretty sure of my size. Otherwise, I still buy them at the physical store.

You can definitely find more choices online. In-store items are limited.

It is difficult to buy American made when it is so darn expensive. I always ordered most of my Christmas presents online, and some of the stores I used to shop at in person are online only now. It’s disappointing.

Prompt delivery here is no more than 4 days. Every now and then we have deliveries that are about 7 days. But any longer than that is not considered on time.

Though I find it more practical shopping in physical malls, I am also a fan of online shopping.
