Globe trotter friends are finally back. They called me Thursday afternoon saying they were dropping something at home.
It was raining and the weather was really terrible but they still drove to my place to drop off this beautiful present from New Zealand.
I love it. I love everything that's been given to me and I always treasure them.
When's the last time you got a surprise gift? Did you like it?

At our last paintball tournament, after we had been crowned champions, I was given a surprise award…the MVP trophy! Totally didn’t expect that!

Many years ago, my best friend and I went to store to look around. I saw a shirt I liked and my best friend bought it for me. It was a nice surprise. I loved that shirt.

That's so sweet. It would have made my day as well.
I love the ocean a lot and my friends knew me well to have gifted me something that reminds me of the ocean.

To be honest, its not all the time that I like everything that is gifted to me. But its value is not in whether I like it or not but the thought and effort that comes with it and so I sincerely appreciate that and cherish the gift that I receive.
