Middle of the month due dates....

....Don't work for someone on a fixed income. My phone service provider keeps changing my bill due date. It used to be on the 24th of the month and the new billing cycle would begin on the 28th. This month the due date on my phone bill was the 19th. I can't pay it until the 27th. I think they do that so they can charge me a bundle in late fees on top of my regular amount. Scammers!

That's just terrible that they do that..when we are on a fixed income it's hard on us if dates change.

I've tried that and was told there was nothing they could do.

IMO I think the due date should be 28 days from when the bill cycle begins. It's ludicrous the amount of 'late' fees they charge.

Phone companies in the US do a 30 day billing cycle. So when the month has 31 days or 27 days, that throws your due date out of sync.
I'm sorry you're having a problem with it.

I would talk to them. Most places will allow you to change your due dates if you ask them.
