Sitting On Pins and Needles

If you're not familiar with the phrase sitting on pins and needles it simply means being anxious and/or stressed.
My daughter in law is having a very serious surgery today and I've put my faith in God that she'll be okay. She had to be in the hospital earlier this morning but I'm not sure what time the actual surgery is scheduled for.
I'd really appreciate any prayers, good vibes and positive thoughts you could send her way.
I won't be venturing far from my phone waiting for my son to call.
Meanwhile I'm going to try to keep myself busy and not let my thoughts wander.

Thanks for telling us, just sent a prayer out your way. Most doctor's know what they are doing. I feel certain she will be OK.

I just saw this post, I hope the surgery went well and she has a good recovery. Sending you good thoughts and prayers. I know waiting is very hard sometimes.

I don't know much but my daughter in law went into surgery later than scheduled and it took longer than expected so by the time she got to recovery it was late. I'm hoping to hear from my son and get the details. I'm thankful that it's over and now she can recover

Time feels like it's standing still. The surgery was longer than expected and late when my son was finally able to see her. I'm hoping to hear from him and find out how it all went.

Often with serious surgeries, they get ya in a day early just to make sure everything goes right.

Hope everything goes well. Wishing your DIL a safe surgery and quick recovery. You in the mean time don't sit in pins and needles but hope for the best. Have faith in God. Everything will be fine.
