It has been for almost 4 days already of heavy rains. A lot of places are flooded already mainly in the Northern part of the Philippines. I know according to the PAGASA the tropical depression already left our country but the strong rain is still on and off. I hope the rains will give us a break and visit the area where it is needed the most. Do you need rain in your area?

last month, they announced el nino was here already. and be prepared for for is effects. but now we have many storms and indeed another new one is coming. though I'm glad that el nino had not happen yet and our dams have somehow increased its water level, but this frequent rains had caused damages in our country..

@simplfred i think they are doing great it is just that, i think, weather are very unpredictable now even with modern technology, that it can change anytime. that forecasting it has become very difficult

What we are having right now is the monsoon rains not the typhoon anymore. I think this is because of the rain clouds being pulled by the two typhoons that passed and passing thru our place. Although the second typhoon is not expected to enter our lands but the winds it has pulls the rains from west Philippine seas.

@simplfred Rains are really strong as our rivers are not going down anytime soon as the rains would always fall. Just a while ago we have been having sunny but just hours after we have rains again and it has become gloomy once again.

Yes, we really do need the rain here. It is far too hot, and there is no rain in sight. I hope your home is not in danger of being affected.

I hope so too!! Glad to see rain but would be nice if it can pour in dry areas. Be careful in all that rising water.

We've dealt with some flooding of our own here in Atlantic Canada. We had a short break from the storms but the threat is back again.

The rain is pouring so fiercely here that it seems angry at the clouds and the wind. The rain is unable to fall according to its own will, as it is determined by the wind and clouds. Oh wind and blue clouds, please allow the rain to fall as it desires and bring us the utmost joy in our lives.

In my country the rain is not evenly distributed. It's raining in my hometown. But on the island of Java where I work it doesn't rain.
