Vikings Are Funny

Maybe none of you vikings anymore but I found this neat and comments from Scottland were funny. "I am Scottish and I felt this" Maybe you are viking and do not know. They dominated the land, may not have won in terms of land war but won in terms of culture war. Vikings were everywhere and they made sure it ran in Scotland. I wish I could say I was Viking but not that brave or tough. I also like to say I am a pirate too but if I had to choose, be viking pirate named Skagnar. Meaning Scottish Viking Pirate that likes to mess with England. No matter how bad, be proud of your culture like vikings because you know why one of the few cultures that admitted their mistakes and changed their ways. Whats wrong with that? Why we still like vikings and pirates in my hood.

I always thought of Vikings as being more Scandinavian than Scottish or British. Denmark, Finland, Greenland...etc being their homelands.

That was the point, vikings iceland Canada who knows stories are legendary how far they traveled. I cannot believe they made a country out of iceland, you seen that place, geez, how can anyone survive there. Alaska is easy compared to Iceland oh my there is literally no life and cold.

Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Finland and Greenland aren't Scandinavia :-) And not really Viking hometurf, although they settled on Greenland and lived there for quite some time. The Finns would have fought the Swedish Vikings I guess.

I always considered any tall Scots or Northern Irish to have Viking ancestry. They are not all that far from Sweden.

Norway and Denmark and Sweden is where they say they controlled the land before so called changed their ways. Kattegat is a real place but moved over the years and not a city maybe some type of outpost. They say terrain is so tough to even get there. Imagine why its just some type of outpost. Its hard to know what is real and fake though. Most of them did not record their ventures and most of the stories seem to be people who came in contact with them. They also say Ragnar Lothbrok may not of even existed because vikings did not record their history. Pretty interesting even if you hate them love them or have no opinion.
