Chapter Two Rewrite Finished

And I'll be sending it to my editor today.
I've made changes to the character's internal and external dialogues that align better with her personality, as introduced in the new first chapter.
I finished working on it just in time for the arrival of Son2 and GF. They came down for a belated birthday celebration. We went out to lunch at Texas Roadhouse and came back to the house for cake and ice cream. Son2 brought a fudge marble birthday cake he baked because he knows it is my favorite.
Today, K and I are loading up the camper for a week of camping up at Jordan Lake. K doesn't have the week off, but the campground is close enough to the plant for her to commute for a few days, and she'll work remotely for a couple of days.
We are not hosting the club campout this month, so there's no pressure to prepare for that for next weekend.

I'm glad you had a good time with your son and his gf.
I've been asleep this morning, like normal. It is cloudy and nasty looking outside with rain. I'm only up because I had to use the restroom and am checking notifications before going back to sleep again.

You could just buy sand if you need it. Quit "borrowing" sand from your neighbor. 
We need the cooler temps so we can go out and mow our yard but now it keeps raining so we still can't mow. *sigh*

Every year I can remember, my mother baked one for my birthday until I joined the Army and left home. After I got married, my wife learned of my love for them and she took up the tradition. Now, my youngest son, who loves to bake does it. This may be the last year, though, as he'll soon be moving out of state for his new job.
