Time can heal a broken heart

We are humans and not perfect and I think each of us has experienced being rejected, insulted, junked, or ignored by someone we love. They could be from a family member, friend, or girlfriend /boyfriend. The pain may linger for many days but as time goes by, we noticed the pain is gradually healed, so I believed that time can help us heal our broken hearts. What about you? Thank you, guys, for reading. Sharing is caring.

@Rimps85 , that is true, and though the scar is there the feeling of being in pain is not the same. It gradually subsided and helped over time.

It depends on how we were hurt by that person. There are times when it takes a long time to forgive and forget and there are times that it just is easy to see them forgive. There are times that the hurt was so bad that its hard to forgo with what has been done.

@rsa101 , very well said, I agree with you that it is a case to case. It depends on the gravity of the root cause of pain or hurt.

Forgiveness is the best antidote. If we forgive, we can easily forget the pain. It can be remembered but it was just in the past.

@jobelbojel , you might be right, in my case, it was about the pain of losing the man of my dream for he passed away and the pain sucks terribly but as years go by, the pain subsided and my heart renewed.

I agree with you. Only time will tell. Some wounds can heal if people just forgive and mend their ways because relationships are not perfect

@mildredtabitha , very well said my friend, agree with what you shared here that only time can tell how the pain will be healed, and despite it leaving a scar but the pain is no longer there only the bad memories that must also be junked .
