Good Monday! Today I'm planning my week and preparing for job interviews out of town. I'm trying to broaden my horizons and seek my fame and fortune in New York, Los Angeles, or even Puerta Rico. Just saw this recipe for an iced sugar cookie latte. And I'm going to attempt to make my own Starbucks latte. Will let you know how it turned out. Have you ever made your own latte?! Or relocated to another city? How did things turn out?

The latte sure looks good. We moved from Florida to Upstate New York last year and are loving it. Hope everything turns out great for you.

That's a big move to the big Apple. Glad your move turned out well! Hope I can have a good time with my move. Might start out temporarily to test the waters.

I moved to Daytona from my home town of St. Augustine. I don't regret it. I'm happy here.

For me latte is simply milk (latte means milk in my language) I am honest, I have no idea what it is that you call latte. I hope there is milk in it.

@db20747 So the name "latte" has very little to do with the creamer version.

I think it's iced coffee with creamers or milk.

I don't drink coffee. But I did try to make my own smoothie once, but it turned out bad. I never moved out of my state before.

I wonder if you need a special machine. As long as I have tried to relocate, I never could seem to get the plan together.

I've been to New York quite a few times. I'd like to also try my luck in hollywood!

The cost of living is so high in New York and California that that would probably scare me off. But, if one can afford it, I imagine it would be a fun adventure. When my sister first moved to a different state, she first chose a small town with no crime, and extremely friendly people. It was about 30 minutes from a big city, and perfect for her. The second time she moved she chose a bigger city, and although it had more, she didn’t like the crime rate. It’s a give and take sometimes. Where I live is kind of an in between.

Yes, that's the trade off between a smaller town and a big city. Blood pressure or peace and quiet.
