@Shavkat We had many too and the oldest was Naaki she lived for 16 years and gave us Bhagira and Nimmi who lived for 14 and 12 years respectively Since you have had dogs earlier you will be able to take care of this one month old puppy.

@allknowing I think I am doing great so far. Yesterday, I took him to a vet for his first vaccine.

In my family, I am really a pet lover. My siblings do like animals, but I am more loving to them. That is why my old man keeps on giving me pet animals to take good care of, such as dogs, roosters, hens, etc. If I can only have a mini-zoo, I will have more domestic animals.

I must say that this is the second time that I am going to raise a puppy. Our old dogs were taken care of by the whole family. My friend and I were also thinking that it was too early for this young puppy to be released. For this reason, I am taking the risk. I have a grown-up chihuahua that was given to me for more than two months. At that point, I was able to bring him to the vet for the first vaccine. For this young pup, I need to wait another month to get his first vaccine. That's why I am so cautious and am not letting him go out.

I felt sad about his traumatic experience with that man. I hope he will be fully comfortable with men. I would be happy if my younger sister would let me have him. Either way, we can still consider him a part of our family, whether extended or not.

I do not want to foster other pets. Since it is owned by my younger sister's son, I need to take it. They are too far away from us. In the meantime, I will take good care of it first.
