Air quality is so terrible right now.

The heat wave has also brought us a terrible bout of bad air here. It got so bad last night that the central air even couldn't filter it all out.
It's just bad, when people go outside, some are struggling to breathe. I always have to take my allergy meds every day. They work well. But not right now--my eyes keep tearing up, and the heat makes my head hurt.
I don't like to be a moaner, as I hate it when people gripe all the time. Forgive me while I vent, I don't even think some of us here would mind the horrible heat wave if we could just breathe better and stop the eye leaks!

The air is very heavy and very humid, plus we are now getting some more wildfire smoke. So fun! Stop by, I will share with you!

That sounds awful. We are in the country at the moment and the air couldn't get any fresher. Even where we live in the city we are rarely troubled by air pollution. We are really lucky in that respect - and many other respects as well.

I am glad for you. We don't really have a lot of pollution where I am, the air is usually fairly pleasant. However, this has been the summer of smoke, and there is just no escape, it keeps coming back. Like I said, those poor people, fires all over the world are out of control in some places. Very sad.

We may get some storms tomorrow, it's not definite but we have a chance. However, according to what is said, it really won't help to cook it off out there. Ugh.

One of my daugher's neighbors is extremely frugal and elderly. She owns a nice home and has money, but she won't run the AC because she refuses to pay for it. Yesterday, the ambulance came for her, she had passed out from the heat. So unnecessary, and now she is in the hospital with heat stroke.

@MarieCoyle Globally this summer has been horrific for a lot of reasons ... heat, torrential rains and storms, landslides, wildfires....It's been a mess.

Lots of wildfires happening also. If you live close to the US/Canada border in Washington State, Kelowna BC is on fire.
