The Unspoken Rules of Parents

Unspoken rules are those things that aren't written down and that children are absolutely sure about. I am speaking based on my experience during my childhood years. In the past, children would behave and stop doing things by just looking into their parents' eyes. For example, my biological parents will not utter words or anything. They will just look at us with piercing eyes, and we will know we have done something wrong. These are some of the unspoken rules that parents have followed in the past. Unlike nowadays, some children tend to be more aggressive and rebellious. Thus, unspoken rules can be practiced not only in parenting but also in how we deal with other people.
Do you adhere to any other unwritten rules?
