Do you think coffee is a good replacement for water in your diet?
Given the no. of coffee drinkers in the world, it's clear that coffee is a popular beverage. But do you think coffee can replace water in your diet intake. Does it provide all the necessary benefits that can a glass of water? How often do you drink coffee instead of water? Do you think coffee is more beneficial than water or otherwise?

No. Caffeine is a diuretic which means it causes you to urinate more and your body actually loses water. Most people take sugar in their coffee which is a dehydrant. You should always drink the recommended amount of water daily to keep the balance.

According to several sources I have checked, yes, coffee does count as water when considering hydration. Be careful, though. Too much caffeinated coffee and cause excess urination since caffeine is a mild diuretic, which can erase the watery benefit of coffee.

Coffee cannot replace water, I will have a cup of hand brewed coffee in the morning
