What did you do? How did you make your first money online? Do you remember that moment? Share? I made my first money on a site like this one. you had to ask and answer questions. Back then, there were only 2 users on that site, everyone else had abandoned it. We were funny at the time, as we answered each other and only after a while realized that there were only two of us. The site paid us well. It is certainly not a lot of money, but the first dollar earned on the Internet - it's super!

Yes, I remember. My daughter was a early teenager and had started playing on a site called WebAnswers. People from all over the internet would go there and ask questions. People on the site would answer those questions. I didn't know anything about her trying to earn online, at the time. My daughter would come to me and ask me questions. I always did my best to give her full and honest answers. After I answered, she'd go back to her room and I'd continue with whatever I had been doing. Until... until she asked me something odd... and I asked why she wanted to know. She wouldn't tell me so I told her I wasn't answering. She kept asking me questions, some I'd answer and some I wouldn't, always asking why she wanted to know. (It was basically questions I thought were "too old" for her to need the answer to that I'd refuse to answer.) She finally explained she was working online and wanted to answer a question somebody asked on the site.
I enjoy answering questions as long as someone isn't trying to play me or asking the same thing again and again. I joined her on the site and we made really good money there until the site collapsed.

@Lertka She's very intelligent and I didn't want to quash any part of her questioning nature. If I could, I'd post a photo of her from back then.
I was a single parent and had custody of her until she became a grownup.

I used to be a blogger and make money from it. However, due to financial constraints, I was unable to renew my website, which I regret to this day.
