Covid-19 Air Vaccines in China: What?!?

I vividly remember what my doctor student from China said. She claimed that the health sector is creating a new way of administer vaccines to human beings. According to her, the vaccines are in the form of air in ampules. I wondered if it is really true. Logically, it seems not possible to create them. What do you think about this idea?

I have always thought that what happens in China is beyond my understanding. I don´t know.

Up to this day, I am not sure if how truthful they are in giving information.

@Shavkat Me neither. And many countries we trust more are not informing much either.

@Shavkat I do not trust them. They are buying up land here in the US. I don't know what they are planning but probably nothing good.

I don't think this is true. China does have a vaccine they give through a puff of air with a machine, like a nebulizer. I remember reading about it one day on the news. I went and looked it up to be sure I remembered it correctly. Convidecia Air, delivers a vaccine dose through a puff of air, it is transferred to the patient through the nebulizer. So technically, yes, it's in the form of air--however, it has to be given to the person via the machine, which is a type of air machine used to usually distribute medicated air when people have breathing problems due to pneumonia, or other conditions.

It does sound a nebulizer to me. I must say that it needs to be seen in actual and it's effect in public. Thus, I don't believe that it does exist at present.

Thanks for that explanation. That makes the most sense I have heard about this. I hope it is safe and effective for everyone. What kind of diseases is it good for?

@akalinus As far as I know from what I have read, it only is currently used to distribute the vaccine and sometimes medicated air for those who need it. Maybe someone else knows more, that was all I found out about it so far.

Anything is possible, but the bigger question is if it's effective and doable. Lots of things to consider: budget, time, infrastructure, and liability.

I am with you. That's a big question. I do hope that it will not cause any injuries or ailments to people.

I've read about it but didn't see much information about the effectiveness of inhalable vaccines.

@DaddyEvil I cannot blame you for this reason. Most news in this country are being filtered.

@RubyHawk I agree. The boosters need to be injected.

Speaking of having easy administering it, I will go for this idea.

I thought they had the vaccine in the air they are breathing - quite possible

I am not sure if they started to use them now. I was not able to have the class with this particular student lately.

That could be a useful way to do it. But I don't think it's possible yet

I also felt the same way. I hope the student did not feel for not believing in her statements.

That sounds very unusual but then the way this world is progressing I would think anything is possible,

If it does happen, I prefer it than being vaccinated with syringe.

I remember way back in the '70s when people lined up for Swine Flu shots. There were no needles. They used a device that shot the vaccine into your arm. It stung badly and we felt it afterward. I am wondering how safe ampules shot into your body would be. I would not trust what is in them, either.

I haven't tried the swine flu vaccine. Moreover, I am not confident to have the ampule way of vaccine. Besides, they are still denying the fact that coronavirus originated from their country.

How do they get the ampules into the body? Do they make a cut and shove it in? Or, what?

I also think so. Since I don't like to be injected, I prefer inhaling it.

I mean people are innoculated with bacteria and viruses through the air naturally everyday... Live attenuated virus put it into an aerosol youd have an effective and slightly contagious aerosol vaccine.

I agree we are exposed to these bacterias and viruses. In my view, it will not be effective.

I just looked up the ampule vaccines. They are sealed in a glass container that needs to be broken to draw up the liquid. I see the potential for mistakes here. Would tiny glass particles get mixed into the vaccine? Some of the ampules have single doses and others have multiple doses. What is the possibility of getting them mixed up? They are also sensitive to heat and light. Of course, they would always be transported and stored correctly, right?
