Has the pandemic affected the way you read in any way?

I have to admit that this pandemic has caused a change in my reading preferences. Prior to the chaotic scenario, I used to read novels despite my busy schedule. Now, I can no longer even manage the motivation to read a book. In addition, I also started to wear a pair of eyeglasses right after getting the coronavirus vaccines. For the reason that I need to cope with the aftermath of this pandemic, I hope I can do this soon.

No change in reading for me. The only change is I don't like being out anymore.

@Shavkat Yes, there are some places we got to go still but it's very limited now for me. I'm a homebody now!

I also noticed that, too. I find it more appealing to stay at home. However, I need to go out for my brisk walking exercise daily.

I must admit that I am still adjusting to use my glasses. As for now, contact lenses are not the option.

I am hoping that I can have more time to be a bookworm again. I will need to put things in place in my new abode.

Other than wearing my eyeglasses, I had found new jobs online and they are better than the old ones. I am glad that you were not affected by this pandemic.

Well, it's been getting harder and harder for me to read little teeny type . . . I thought it was just me getting older . I will say my reading tastes have changed a bit . . . the pandemic had me reading more about world news, politics, health, real life stories . . . and I'm still doing that.

@Shavkat In any case, I do think it was good that we kept up our reading . . . it kept our mind off of things, hopefully.

Since the pandemic struck our world upside down, I refused to stop reading or watch news that much. I prefer reading things in here and to other earning sites like myLot.

I don't think the pandemic has anything to do with it. We change as we age. What we once loved to do, changes. Part of being human.

I guess I am growing older. It sounds like I am in denial stage, but it was a matter of accepting the changes in my life. As they said, we need to embrace the aging process.

I haven't read any of my favorite books lately. I love reading celebrity biographies. I've been very busy. But now I hope I can start back reading again.

@LadyDuck I used to do this, but my eyes are tired to read during the sleeping time. For the reason that I am tired of looking at the computer's screen for eight hours during my online classes.
