Lake Anna Has Pirates...you heard it here first!

So, the other day I was in the liquor store buying myself a beverage when in walked a guy with long braided hair down to his waist...a kerchief tied in the manner of a pirate on his head, and an earring. He was buying an amber liquid I was wondering if it was rum. He was obviously acquainted with the clerk who he exchanged pleasantiries with. When he left, I said "He looks like pirate, she said "He is" He is the Lake Anna Pirate. "His day job is boat mechanic, and he is working on my boat." Anyway, I was trying to remember if the boat parade we went to last year had a pirate ship. I know they had a dragon...that was really eye catching...wings that went up and down,,,and smoke coming out of its mouth...This was a ship mind you. If I go this year, I will have to look for the pirate.Last year it was probably 65 to 70 in the evening...not Christmasy at all...but maybe better than too cold. Have you ever seen a pirate?

I have seen that pirate show they put on every day there too. Tampa has pirate ships too. They have something called Gasparilla Days in Feb. where they have some fighting pirate ships, and others.

@snowy22315 Also Panama City Beach has a pirate ship that is a restaurant. I enjoyed the daily free show in Las Vegas.

This guy looked like Johnny Depp in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie .Clothes weren't quite as ornate though.

Yes, a parrot, real or fake would have completed the ensemble...also maybe saying "Shiver me timbers in an old English accent...

Yes. They have people in pirates' costumes in Key West, Florida. One day we were watching the Duval Street webcam; and there were dozens of people in pirates' costumes. Must have been pirates' day or something. Have a good weekend.
