There I was walking to my mother-in-law's when I noticed what looked like a dollar bill on the ground.
As I came closer I realized it was actually a $10 bill.
I put my foot over it so it wouldn't fly away.
My mom came up to me and noticed it.
She helped me pick it up as I had a box in my hands.
I've never found such a high dollar bill before.
Wonder what to do with it.
For now it is in my wallet.

@lovebuglena But doesn’t your husband? If not, buy yourself some Advil to counteract the contractor who causes you so much consternation!

@AmbiePam Oh yeah. He drives. Every day. It's more the kitchen cabinet guys that are causing me more issues than the contractor who is remodeling our kitchen.

@lovebuglena Hey, not bad, right? It's not everyday you find bills on the ground like that !

Oh yeah. Didn't think of that lol. And seeing as I didn't make payout last month and won't this month most likely it's awesome finding that $10.

Congrats! I'd just hang onto it until I needed it for something.

@lovebuglena I carry some cash in my wallet, too. Some for things for both of us and some for things for just me... although, the money for just me often gets used to buy something for both Pretty and I.

@DaddyEvil It's harder for me as my bank branch closed so now I don't have one within short walking distance of my house. I don't always have cash on me.

For now it is in my wallet. I will probably move it to a different pocket in the wallet so I don't end up spending it on groceries.

I put my foot on hats/papers/money/etc if they're on the ground and I think they're to blow away. It works a treat.

@lovebuglena That sounds an excellent idea too.

My mom thought I put my foot on top of it so no one else can see it. Maybe in some way she was right lol.

Your wallet is a good place for it for now. Use it for something special for you.

Yeah. I don't want to spend it on groceries. Unless maybe it's some delicious pastry.

I think whoever lost it, probably isn't looking for it. Perhaps the saying finders keepers applies here?

If I had left it where it was someone else would have taken it. So why not me? Finders keepers for sure.

@lovebuglena That's true. Not common to lose a bill that high, their loss your gain.

Usually if I find anything on the ground it is pennies. Finding $10 was definitely unexpected.

Thank you. Maybe I should buy a scratch-off lotto ticket.

That is good to know that you were able to find a huge dollar amount of money on the street.

It was definitely unexpected. Good thing hubby decided to get into his mom's building through the back and not the front.

The most I found in one spot was sixty five dollars. There was three twenties and a five.
