What Are Your Least Favorite Foods?

This is an easy one for me -- raw onions, beets, liver, strong and smelly cheeses, anchovies, asparagus, anything raw such as sushi or beef tartare, oysters, escargot, I'm not a big fish fan, sardines, tripe, eggs sunnyside up (I like them scrambled, in egg salad or deviled), I don't eat lamb or veal, shrimp (I can't get past the texture)...that's all I can think of offhand.
What about you? What foods can't you stand? And why?

Aside from the things I’m allergic to (pork, seafood, peas), I never developed a taste for liver. I had chicken livers once when I was stationed in Jacksonville, and they were dry and tough as leather.

That one is easy liver, as well as fish like sardines or anchovies, or really strong cheeses I dislike too. Beets from a can no...although I can do raw ones or pickled ones.

@LindaOHio I went to a Christmas party one time, and one of the guests lived on a commune. They made their own cheese there, and she brought a big hunk of it to the party. You would think it would it be good, but it must have aged forever. Suffice it to say, it was not good!

Liver is so good. I remember once in school (forget which grade) we were asked what we had for breakfast. I said fried liver. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy.

@LindaOHio Really? You've been to Florida and never had a fried oyster. If the chef breads the oysters nicely and fries them at a correct temperature they are very tasty.

@LindaOHio My grandmother used to feed us pigs trotters which I hadn’t a problem with at the time but the thought horrified me now.

I don't like the Indian beans and jackfruit when they are ripe. Their smell makes me feel squamy.

Onions because they make me ill. Blue cheese also makes me ill.
But just out and out dislike? Coconut - that stuff belongs in shampoo not in food.
I also hate carrot cake - but I like both carrots and cake.
I also find most chocolate ice-cream to be inedible, it's like frozen, stale cocoa powder. I think Ben and Jerry's is the only one I've tried that actually tastes of chocolate.

As you know, I am a picky eater so this list would be very long.
All veggies except potatoes, all fruit except for apples, most of the things you listed - although I do love salmon and eggs with runny yolk is my favorite.
most nuts, beans, ..etc

Cabbage. I could also add yam to it as it is a nightmare removing the skin which I have to do when the maid is not around (lol)

I like a great variety of foods but I guess among the things I do not like are anchovies. Then again you can get used to a lot of foods you don't like if someone teaches you how to make them. I was appalled when Martin told me in Latvia that he love beef lungs and they were a cheap alternative to meat. Then we bought them and he taught me how to boil them in broth. After we would grind them and then I made a nice stuffing for pancakes and some gravy and they were delicious,

I hate raw garlic but love raw onion. And I hate pecans and walnuts. Not a fan of chocolate bars or chocolate candy but I love drinking hot chocolate. And I won't say no to chocolate cake. Just no whipped cream for me. I hate that.
